The Whitehall Animal Hospital Staff
Anne E. Duffus, DVM
Dr Anne Duffus has been working in the field of Veterinary
Medicine since 1986 when she started as a Veterinary Assistant/
Hospital Manager of The Cat Hospital of Denver in Denver, CO.
Prior to that time Dr Duffus worked in the banking industry as a
management consultant and Banking Officer.
She obtained her BA in 1977 from Gordon College and her DVM
from The Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine in 1993. She has a
special interest in Toy Breeds of dogs and is owned by 8 Chihuahuas
and 2 Jack Russell Terriers. Dr Duffus is also a 2nd Degree Black Belt
in Tae Kwon Do.
Brenda A. Johnson, DVM
Dr Brenda Johnson obtained her DVM from The Ohio State College
of Veterinary Medicine in 1988 and has been with Whitehall Animal
Hospital since 1995. She works part time, mostly on Saturdays.
During the week she is the Coordinator for the Veterinary Technology
Program at Columbus State Community College where she is very busy
making sure that there are plenty of qualified Veterinary Technicians
in the state of Ohio.
Cindy Vogtsberger, DVM
Dr Vogtsberger attended Miami University where she earned an undergraduate and Masters Degree
in Zoology. She then attended the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine and received
her DVM in 1978. Dr Vogtsberger completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at
Southshore Veterinary Hospital in Boston MA shortly after graduation from Veterinary School. Since
that time she has been practicing small animal medicine and surgery in Columbus, Ohio.
Dr Vogtsberger and her husband Marty have lived in Columbus, Ohio since 1972. They have two
grown daughters. She enjoys time with friends, traveling, tennis, golf, book club, biking and walking.
Aley
Aley joined our practice as a veterinary assistant in 1999. She is now our co-practice manager with
Sarah and is an invaluable part of our practice team.
Aley earned an Associate's Degree in Equine Science and Reproductive Management from Laramie
Community College in Cheyenne, Wyoming in 1998.
Aley is the proud parent to two happy dogs, Uno (a 6 yr old Boston Terrier) and Bailey (a 12 yr old
Chocolate Lab). Her outside interests include volleyball, jewelry making and spending time with her
nieces and nephews.
Aley believes the best thing about being at Whitehall Animal Hospital is "helping improve the quality
of life for animals and establishing long term relationships with them and their owners."
Sarah
Sarah is co-office manager with Aley, and has been at Whitehall since 2002. She has a 2 year old son Logan.
As co-manager, Sarah is is charge of the organizational aspects
of our practice including inventory and ordering. She has a golden retriever named "Karma".
Kendall
Kendall is the Kennel Manager. He has been with Whitehall since 2001, has 2 dogs
Goldie and Taka, and just recently married Kim, a long time client at Whitehall. Kendall loves
animals and enjoys taking care of his regular boarders. He knows their personalities well which
makes it easy to tell if something is not right with them while they are boarding.
Terrie
Terrie is the receptionist here at Whitehall Animal Hospital. She has been married to her husband
Mike for 27 years and they have two grown sons. Terrie and Mike have a cat (Miss Kitty) and a
much babied Beagle named Rocky. Terrie is also a certified handgun instructor and teaches at the
NWTF Women in the Outdoors events.
